7w7 is operated from Spain by an individual developer, with a small team assisting with the operation of the Services from time to time.

4. Personal Data We Process
Depending on how you use the Services, 7w7 may process the following categories of information.
Discord account information
- Discord user ID;

- avatar information, including temporary avatar links where applicable; and
- bot-related settings.
Game data
7w7 may store the information required for the game to function, including:

Command usage
7w7 may record commands used through the Discord bot. 7w7 does not intentionally store the contents of ordinary Discord messages merely because they exist.
User Content
Users may upload images, text, profile customizations, character submissions, and similar content.
Purchase and supporter information
Where necessary to administer Ko-fi or Patreon purchases, subscriptions, donations, or supporter benefits, 7w7 may process information associated with those transactions, including an encrypted email address used for Ko-fi purchases.
Security and anti-abuse information
7w7 maintains certain security and anti-abuse logs used to detect automation, scripts, exploits, manipulation, cheating, fraud, or other misuse of the Services.
5. User Content and Public Visibility
Users may submit images and text through the Discord bot, primarily for profile customization and other game features. Users may also submit forms to propose or add characters or other content to the game.
User-submitted content may be publicly displayed. Users are warned before submitting content that it may be publicly visible.
Users should therefore not submit private, confidential, or sensitive information that they do not intend to make public.
User Content remains owned by its original author. 7w7 does not claim ownership of User Content merely because it is submitted to the Services.
7w7 may store, process, reproduce, and display User Content as necessary to operate the Services and provide the features for which the content was submitted.
7w7 may remove, hide, reject, or restrict User Content when reasonably necessary because of violations of applicable law, Discord rules, 7w7 rules, security concerns, or at the request of the original author.
6. Purposes of Processing
Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- providing and operating the game and its features;
- identifying Users and maintaining account functionality;
- maintaining persistent game progression;
- providing customization and user-requested features;
- processing and administering purchases, subscriptions, donations, and supporter benefits;

- monitoring command usage and Service operation;
- detecting automated scripts and other attempts to obtain an unfair advantage;

Processing necessary to provide requested game functionality, account functionality, persistent progression, customization, and other Services may be necessary for the performance of the service provided to the User.

Processing for security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, system integrity, operational analysis, and protection of the Services may be based on legitimate interests where the applicable GDPR requirements are satisfied.
Legal obligations
Certain processing may be necessary to comply with legal obligations, including obligations concerning transactions, accounting, taxation, legal claims, or other applicable requirements.

8. Data Storage and Retention
7w7 stores its primary game and account data on its own server/database.
Access to stored 7w7 data is restricted to the operator and authorized administrators who need access to operate, maintain, moderate, secure, or support the Services.
7w7 is designed as a persistent game. Game data is therefore normally retained for as long as necessary to preserve a User's game progress, achievements, inventory, collections, settings, and other persistent game state.
There is no routine short-term deletion period for active game progression because automatic deletion would prevent the persistent game experience from functioning as intended.
However, any User may request deletion of data linked to them, including game data, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
Where applicable law requires or permits information to be retained, that information may be retained for the relevant period or otherwise processed in accordance with the applicable legal exception.
9. User Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of personal data associated with their use of 7w7.
Requests may be submitted by:

- submitting a request through a private support ticket in the official 7w7 support server.
A deletion request may include deletion of Discord-linked information, game progress, User Content, customization data, and other data associated with the requesting User, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Reasonable measures may be taken to verify the identity of a person making a request where necessary to prevent unauthorized deletion or disclosure.
10. Your GDPR Rights
Subject to the conditions and limitations established by applicable law, Users within the scope of the GDPR may have the following rights:
- Right of access: You may request confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed and obtain access to applicable personal data and information about its processing.

Requests will generally be handled without charge. Where permitted by applicable law, a reasonable fee may be charged or action may be refused for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
Requests will generally be answered within one month. Where permitted by law, this period may be extended by up to two additional months due to the complexity or number of requests. Where an extension is necessary, the User will be informed within the applicable initial period.
12. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of applicable data-protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
As 7w7 is operated from Spain, the relevant Spanish supervisory authority is the Agencia Espa�ola de Protecci�n de Datos (AEPD).

13. Discord
7w7 relies on Discord as its primary platform.
Discord independently processes personal data under its own privacy policies and terms. Data processed directly by Discord is subject to Discord's own practices and responsibilities.
7w7 may receive information made available through Discord that is necessary to operate the bot, including Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatar information, and bot-related information.
14. Website Authentication and Cookies
The 7w7 web application uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication.
The website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes.
If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
15. Payments and Third-Party Services
7w7 uses third-party services including Ko-fi and Patreon for donations, purchases, subscriptions, and supporter benefits.
Ko-fi may use PayPal and Stripe as payment processors.
Patreon determines and operates its own payment-processing infrastructure and may use third-party payment processors.
These providers may independently process personal and payment information under their own privacy policies and terms.
7w7 does not intentionally store users' full payment card numbers or payment authentication credentials.
16. Data Sharing and Access
Stored 7w7 data is accessible to the operator and authorized administrators assisting with the operation of the Services.
Personal data may also be processed by third-party services where necessary to provide the Services, including Discord, Ko-fi, Patreon, PayPal, and Stripe.
7w7 does not sell users' personal data.

7w7's own primary data storage is located within the European Union.
Some third-party providers used by the Services may have their own international processing arrangements. 7w7 does not impose an additional minimum age beyond Discord's applicable requirements and applicable law.
